Utterly, utterly brilliant Bob. I called my book South of Market because it used to be the location of Twitter's HQ. Social Media is verging on satanic. And I, like you, and most people reading this, have been sucked into it too. We need to switch off and join a club or do anything but what we're doing.
Ever thought about the names of the most popular social media platforms?
Face Book - a place where you voluntarily fill your own CIA filing cabinet with many images of your face, associates and family in a neat autobio book.
Twitter - a place where your opinions were believed to be the tweets of little birdies but were really revealing every psych-twist in your soul to the fat controllers. Lately renamed X which reinforces the extra juice being filed against you while denying you the "reach" you believe you need.
Discord - disturbing, distressing, dissing disparate corner to meet up with others who focus on a chosen obsession.
Instagram - neither instant nor grammatically valuable.
TikTok - a place that wastes your time.
and now Substack - a subordinate subterranean stacked echo chamber dungeon full of disgruntled dissidents whose voices can only be heard by other tortured inmates and seldom by the general public. A place where a surfeit of celebrated authors earn small fortunes and genuine genius ideas come to fester and die unheard.
Tiktok was the MKUltra machine in Alice in Wonderland part two..
Twitter and tweeter were space alien locusts who were seen on the moon by a remote viewer , studied by CIA remote viewer researchers.
X i suspect is a continuation of XBox .. corralling kids into a vortex of Saturnalian oblivion.
Sadly I dont think the elites invent all this stuff tho. A big chunk of it is 'natural' human hive mind stuff. Its what we do in the madness of crowds.
Occasionally I get bold enough to cross pollinate a link or a like into some other (echo) chamber. Epstein outrage afforded some opportunity toward that.
‘Building Seven’ can sometimes be a conversation starter.
"There remains only a minuscule group of people on this planet who have NOT justified the indiscriminate murder of civilians for one reason or another, at some point over the last five years."
Thank you a hundred times over for saying what needed to be said.
Great writing Bob, I completely share your sentiments on the experiment that has been Social Media and have noted the monumental amount of information people are prepared to share about themselves to corporate agencies for free.
Perhaps the Powers That Be understood that we’re a nation of moaners and would flock to a forum allowing us to vent without having to get our lardy arses off the sofa and do something positive in the real world.
George Osborne, supposedly the architect behind the austerity measures is still at large and when his time comes, you’ll get an “Oh good” from of me.
Before the Covid carnage, policy makers implemented a series huge spending cuts to some of the most essential public services, and the Civiil Service ghouls working in The Treasury would have known full well the harms. The excuse was that the government had given away all its spare money to bail out the banks following the 2008 crash and we all needed to tighten our belts. Their measures led to the untimely death of over 120,000 people, most of them poor and disabled so a pretty good result for the eugenic obsessed Conservatives in power at the time. Sadly, some of my closest loved ones were lost to those austerity cuts and I decided then to make it my mission to find out if the government was lying and to prove it.
Together with a small group of grieving women with no background in academia or economics, we set up a group to get to the bottom of how our government finances itself, to examine its balance sheets to debunk their claim that the government can run out of money and make sense, for lay people, the macroeconomic implications for fully funding public services. It’s not about Left or Right politics, we wanted to get to the nuts and bolts of what lies behind the political narrative in the media.
We sought the insights of macro economists, bankers and public policy experts. Soon others joined us and a small team of researchers hounded The Treasury and Bank of England with Freedom of Information requests, in order to build up a complete step-by-step analysis of how government spending works.
Our website www.gimms.org.uk has become a popular resource for members of the public wanting to more about money and the macroeconomy, ordinary people waking up to mainstream narratives about money, debt, deficits and public finances. We’re entirely self-funded and have few resources other than enthusiasm and a moral compass!
It’s been a fun journey and we’ve had plenty of pushback and criticism but it was a project in memory of the loved ones we’d lost to Osborne’s knife.
I’d definitely recommend people getting off-line and doing something positive, we owe it to our grandchildren as an example if nothing else.
Keep pushing Bob, your book has pride of place in my house and I’m looking forward to the next one! ❤️
The government have a money tree and prune it at their delectation, all in the knowledge that the downtrodded masses will continue to fertilise it. We should instead be taking a dump on the town hall steps.
I agree with pretty much everything you say here and would arrogantly put myself in the 1% - unvaccinated, sacked, non-violent. The funny thing that has started happening to me is some of the people locally I know who basically rage-spat in my direction during covid for being a granny-killing nutter have begun to confess to having bad dreams in which they are arguing with me. I am pretty sure there is sound psychology for why this is happening. They are processing their mistakes and projecting onto me unconsciously. This is a good sign. I'm happy to be their personal arsehole if it helps them work their shit out. Least I can do.
Oh and I do write music when I am not trying to tell the world how right I am about everything and generally being a regular (though non-murderous) douchebag.
Here in the Philippines, we have regular power cuts. Although it's uncomfortable for the heat, it immediately brings down the internet-induced fever. It's like having a temporary respite from an amphetamine addiction.
Excellent. I’ve recently stopped looking at twitter as it had become thoroughly depressing, confusing and frankly evil. I used to often find interesting articles on there but not now! Many including myself didn’t know much about Charlie Kirk and to be honest I’m not that interested. I’m against shooting anyone but suspicious when it becomes a big news item with everyone jumping on the bandwagon whatever side they’re on. I’m far more concerned about little children being deliberately targeted in Gaza. It’s stupid and tasteless to celebrate any murder, but there are one or two whose demise and evil deeds may tempt me to raise a glass to within family.😏
Nailed it! Bob, this is one of the best things I've read recently.
Going of on the slightest tangent, I was talking someone today, they work in cyber compliance, whatever the f that is, they are partially awake, they asked me if I remember Cambridge Analytical, it has become the Behavioural Insights Team. And they are heavily 'nudging' social media, constantly.
So people, don't worry your pretty little heads over being arrested for words, be worried about the sheep being completely played and used to fight the 1% or whatever it is that are on to the controllers games.
Mainstream media is dying g and (un)social media is the new battle ground.
Nobody shot Charlie Kirk. The whole affair was so ludicrously badly done and it would be laughable, if it weren't for so many people believing the narrative portrayed in the mainstream media. We have the internet now, folks. Grab some popcorn and sit down to watch the movie of the 'event'. it's no oscar performance, but it's mildly amusing viewing, but the best bit's yet to come: Charlie's 'wife' Erika and the speech! Oh and the posing by the coffin......I mean, really? Come on, people. Use some critical thinking here. What's the betting that everyone's calling for less guns and tighter gun control now? And, of course, greater surveillance and security. Did we learn absolutely nothing from 9/11? Save your trauma for something real. The actor who played Charlie Kirk is probably undergoing a little bit of plastic surgery and then he'll be jetted off to some tropical remote island with a big fat pay cheque. Not bad for a few years work.
I said years ago, drop the tech or die, weather it be literally or in the mind. I hate technology. Thanks Bob I actually took time out from crocheting to read the whole thing. agree 100% Ps I didnt know who Kirk was!
Well said that man. More slaughter is never, ever, the answer to anything, ever. I don't do social media anymore (never did it much, I'm old...) and I had never heard of CK... life is much sweeter when you aren't watching / hearing or being part of the baying crowd. Thanks for existing Bob!
One teeny-weeny little point Bob. Charlie Kirk was not murdered. That event is as fictional as covid was.
And where did you get the notion that the vast majority of those of us who saw through the virus psyop and refused the jabs now support the Israeli slaughter in Gaza? That is not my impression. Do you have any facts to back that up?
And who gives a rat's ass about irrelevant twats like Morgan or Queen Liz. They are just yet more actors dramatising fictions for the brainwashed masses to lap up in the dreary daily soap opera called the News.
Otherwise, spot on.
And, maybe stick to cartooning. You're good at that.
If he's 'spot on', then no reason why he shouldn't carry on writing as well as doing cartoons. I do agree with you about Convid, though - most sceptics I know are against the slaughter. There does seem to be an idea out there that only left wingers are anti genocide.
wow Jack Boulay! your words are full of hate, anger, sarcasms and a know it all! chill out Jack, and find some understanding and empathy, and dont let words upset you so much. weather Charlie Kirk is, was, not what ever, i believe it was a way to create division, and you just proved its working! at least you paid Bob a complement on his gift which is a great start Jack. Have a wonderful week Jack and find a little joy, god bless you Jack :D

Pour some pepper into some far-flung posts.
Spot on Bob. Thank you. We are drowning and everyone is telling us we are waving.

Their efforts were presented as a paper to economists at The Bank of England who recommended publication. So this paper was recently published in an economics journal. https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/00213624.2025.2533726

If you resonated with that comment then we are kin for sure.
You make a great point about how involving ourselves in these Social Media circus acts is actually allowing ourselves to be drained of Life Energy.
And it is being harvested, no doubt about it.

Excellent and so, so true.
I don't recall celebrating anyone's death but I have sometimes felt a sense of relief that they are no longer with us
However, there is always another criminal ready behind the scenes to take over the job.
